Job Title: Social Media Manager    

Location: Online

Terms: Part-time / Contract 

Rate: $35-$45 / hour ~10hrs/week

 

 

About moveTHRU: 

moveTHRU is an online coaching business that provides grief guidance through movement, mindset and community to anyone who has experienced a loss. Services include online grief support groups, coaching programs, free online courses and social media, live retreats and workouts that provide clients with guidance to not just survive life after a loss — but to ultimately thrive! 

 

About the role: 

The Social Media Manager will work hand-in-hand with Emily to plan, create and publish content to her 240k+ following. From planning the content calendar, to repurposing content for social media posts and emails, organizing content & media in AirTable, and engaging with the moveTHRU community through comments and conversations in the DM’s, the Social Media Manager will be a KEY player in providing free content to grievers, selling moveTHRU’s coaching programs, and spreading Emily’s message of hope and empowerment. This position includes opportunities for personal growth, advancement within moveTHRU, creativity and fun, and a chance to significantly impact the lives of those struggling with grief. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Creates original content and repurposes past content for social media posts and email campaigns
  • Manages content calendar in collaboration with Emily 
  • Creates email sequences, writes copy and schedules campaigns in Kajabi
  • Schedules and posts social media content across all moveTHRU channels
  • Archives and organizes written content and multi-media in Air Table and Google Drive
  • Researches trending sounds and viral trends for TikTok and Instagram 
  • Supports with creation of social media graphics in Canva 
  • Responds to DM’s and comments across all social media platforms 

 

Required Skills:

  • Superb writing skills! Witty, eloquent, professional and capable of adapting to moveTHRU brand
  • Fine eye for details & design 
  • Direct and open verbal communication skills 
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who desires to go above and beyond in his/her work
  • Passion for social media and content creation
  • Ability to work with a team, take direction and ask for help when needed
  • Ability to be flexible in completing ad-hoc requests, team meetings, and multi-tasking when the need arises 
  • Solution-oriented, able to problem solve and offer solutions as needed 

 

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of Kajabi or similar email system 
  • Experience with AirTable and Canva 
  • Grief or mental hand background and/or desire to work in this field is a plus!
