The Secret Behind my Heartfelt SIX-FIGURE Biz

Six months after my husband Ian's death, I found myself at a cross-road…

Did I return to a corporate nine-to-five job?

Or, did I listen to the whispers of my heart and try something totally new?

Prior to Ian’s death, I had been a stay-at-home mom raising two children under the age of three. I had side hustles in fitness and contract work, while Ian filled the primary role of head of household.

When his cancer metastasized, he quit his job, we relocated to Colorado to be closer to family, and “The Fight” become our primary focus.

With him now gone, I had to figure out how to be head of household, mother AND father all at once!

I knew the safe route -- the one that guaranteed me steady income, benefits, and predictability in a world that had become highly random and unpredictable; the rationale route that made sense in my mind.

But my heart was guiding me down another path.

The experience of loss had changed me. I saw the world differently now! I had lessons and insights that I wanted to share.

I had read loads of memoirs by widows and others who had experienced losses and were now coaching clients, writing books, building communities and hosting podcasts and TEDTalks — using the lessons that they gained through surviving their hardship and sharing them to make an impact.

Maybe I could do it too? I wondered.

I was already witnessing how hints of my very own story were changing lives with followers commenting or reaching out when I shared on my blog or social media.

If I can just help one person, then it’s worth it! I told myself.

In the midst of my self-doubt and fear, I could hear Ian persuading me to pass on the safe bet, to take the leap, and start my own business! He had always encouraged my entrepreneurial spirit and challenged me to take risks professionally — so why stop now?

With him gone, I didn’t really care about the safe, predictable route. My entire life had just been flipped upside down and I was still standing.

I figured if I could survive his death…then I could probably withstand further disappointment and failure should things not work out! 🤷‍♀️

I didn’t have a business plan, strategy, or even a clear idea of what I was going to create …

But I had heart. 💖

So I invested in myself — my career, my growth, my future, my life — by hiring my first mentor.

Within three months, I started laying the groundwork not just for my business moveTHRU but for my …

My LEGACY.

In bringing my movement to life, I’ve honored Ian every step of the way.

Now, I want to share how you can do this too!

Legacy

Legacy
is about the richness of an individual’s life.

It's what that person accomplished and the impact he or she had on people and places.

You can honor one's legacy by prolonging his or her impact

and

making an imprint beyond their physical time here on Earth.

By honoring your loved one's legacy as you create your own, you start a ripple effect of influence that transcends finite boundaries -- because love and a person's impact are infinite...

When you keep their story alive
